Sound & Vision Win Customer Satisfaction Award

Farnworth-based TV and home cinema specialist Sound & Vision have triumphed in the Internet category of UK-wide 2007 Retailer of the Year awards, administered by warranty provider Domestic & General.

These prestigious awards, now in their ninth year, celebrate the best retail experiences in terms of customer care, product knowledge and product demonstration and are based on feedback from over 250,000 customer surveys distributed to customers throughout the UK.

Sound & Vision have developed a successful presence on the internet which highlights the wide product range offered by the company. Deliveries are then dispatched within three days. Customers who wish to view the products and receive expert advice can then visit their state of the art Bolton showroom. Although not in a town centre location, this fifteen year old store in Market Street attracts customers from a wide area, looking for quality service delivered by informed staff. Products can then be collected immediately from the 80,000sq ft warehouse located minutes from the showroom.

Over sixty staff work for the company and many have been happily employed since it launched in 1992. The company are respected for their regular on the job training which has a particular emphasis on product knowledge. Monthly incentives are also in operation to maintain strong motivation.

Through a modern, user friendly website and old fashioned word of mouth, Sound & Vision continues to go from strength to strength.
